I've had an unexplainable love for sharks and marine life for as long as I can remember. But, unfortunately, I live more than a day's drive away from the closest sea and even further from the nearest ocean. That, however, doesn't mean that I can't help with understanding and protecting these amazing animals.

This is the first step towards a platform that will allow us to get a glimpse into the world of these mysterious creatures and learn more about them. I've only added 35 species so far, and the data has a bunch of holes, but with some help from the community, I believe we'll have an incredible dataset with a bunch of (actually) interesting info :D

The idea behind the project is for it to be community-driven and I'm more than happy to include anyone willing to add in new species, report interactions or even recommend a good movie or video game that is missing in the list. If that sounds like something you could do, shoot me an email at info@shark-utopia.com or reach out via social media.
